2006 Great Dane National Specialty


The 2006 Great Dane National Specialty was held in Topeka, KS. Having earned both her American and Canadian Championships, Quincy competed in the Breed competition. She was handled - as always - by her "bestest buddy", Paige McCarver. It was a bittersweet show, because this was Q's 'retirement' - her last show, and the last time to be in the ring with Paige.

And as always, the two of them were awesome in the ring. I couldn't have more proud of either of them. And the icing on the cake was being asked to show with her sire, Sandyoaks Enduring Freedom ("TJ"), in the Stud Dog class. Quincy,  and her littermate Billy Jean, stood alongside TJ,  in a very large and impressive Stud Dog class. We were thrilled that TJ took 3rd place.
